The company from the southwest of Germany produces protective ceramic coatings with long life cycle and excellent non-stick and thermo shock properties for metallic and refractory surfaces. The team consists of technicians and scientists with long years of experience in development and technology transfer of ceramic high-performance coatings.

The company protects surfaces against chemical attack, corrosion, temperature shock in combination with excellent long-term stable non-stick properties at high temperatures. They also offer release coatings for smelters and foundries, protective non-stick coatings for high-temperature applications and coatings for the aerospace industry.
In addition to this, the company tackles customer-specific problems and develops coatings for special applications, supporting this process right until market readiness.

The coatings distinguish from competitive technologies by their long life time and their environmentally friendly properties.

The unique property of the coatings is the sintering activity at low temperatures achieved by a nano-binder, ZrO2, which can form a ceramic layer at only 370°C. This allows the coating of surfaces with ceramics at comparatively low temperatures.

The nano-binder has an excellent adherence to the surfaces and has excellent thermo shock resistance. This is the reason for its long life cycle in industrial applications such as mold release coatings in low pressure die casting or gravity die casting of open ingots, brass faucets, aluminium cylinder heads, wheels or engine blocks.
Conventional coatings such as graphite are single-use coatings, they need to be renewed after every shot. Graphite is environmentally hazardous and needs to be disposed professionally associated with high cost. The German company?s non-stick coatings last up to 2500 shots avoiding the use of graphite.
In other applications the coatings act as efficient corrosion protection layers in heat exchangers (domestic heatings, firing chambers). They improve heat transfer and also have a very long life cycle due to their excellent thermo shock resistance (on-off cycles of heatings).

Already on the market - The coating products are readily developed and commercially available in larger quantities.
