Descripción completa

Brazilian company founded in 1994, headquartered in the State of Alagoas, produces black pepper since 2001, serves the national market producing high quality pepper type B1. Small rural enterprise with 12 full-time employees, increasing to 30 employees at harvest times.

It also has a small plantation of oranges and graviola (soursop), destined to the local municipal market. It now has 26,000 pepper plants and an annual crop estimated at 35,000 kg. As the region has over 40 other small producers, it is possible to have a pool of producers to meet some demand that requires a larger quantity. For export, the company offers pepper in bulk in bags of 25 or 50 kg.

The company looks for distributors to purchase the product in bulk, for further packaging and availability on the European internal market. The ideal contract between the parties would be a distribution agreement to supply the merchandise periodically.
Nationally, the company distributes its products to other states, most of them in the northeast and southeast of Brazil.

Socio buscado:

- Specific area of activity of the partner: The foreign customer must have familiarity with the international merchandise market and interest in establishing partnerships in the purchase of black pepper for periodic distribution.

Advantages & innovations:

The company production of black pepper stands out for the quality of the product. Pepper dries in the sun until it reaches good humidity, then it goes through rapid drying with indirect fire.
In case of demands prior to the harvest period, the product can be dried entirely in the sun.

This technique provides it a special aroma and flavor, comparing to the indirect fire process.

It is known that the world's largest competitors in the supply of similar goods are located in markets that have difficulty accessing the European market due to non-compliance with minimum legal requirements of quality and sustainability.

The company is willing to follow additional requirements depending on the needs of the distributor.

The company offers the possibility of lower freight cost by shipping the merchandise from the Port of Suape - PE, in relation to other Brazilian ports.

Development Stage:

Already on the market - Despite having been active in the domestic market of black pepper since 2001, in recent years the company has adjusted its conditions to permit offering part of production to the external market.
