UK renewable energy company looking for manufacturing/assembly partner in Europe

The company is an award winning UK company working in the renewable energy. They have developed a technology which transforms organic waste into energy, water and fertiliser.

The company has developed an easy to install waste management systems. It converts waste into biogas, which is then used to create electricity and heat within a combined heat and power unit (CHP) that client can use on site or sell back into the grid. The heat produced by the unit can also be used to replace gas, oil or diesel. The systems also provide a source of liquid organic fertiliser ready for sale for spraying or ground injection.

The systems are fully designed and tested, with many having been built in the UK for international deployment.

To reduce the potential impact of the UK leaving the EU on their business, the company is looking to sign a new manufacturing/outsourcing/services agreement with a long-term manufacturing/assembly partner in mainland Europe for their European clients.

The company should have experience in electrical, mechanical and piping assembly with the capability to handle 20? shipping containers.

The systems to be manufactured and assembled include custom fabricated plastic tanks, fabricated/welded steel work, pumps, valves, PVC process piping and PLC controls; all permanently installed into ISO shipping containers. The company is looking to outsource all build activities including production planning, procurement, supply chain management, assembly, quality control, factory acceptance testing and packing for shipping.

The ability to provide electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance services would be an added benefit.

Required volume is expected to reach 12 containers per month, once build chain is fully established. Partners are sought throughout Europe.
